Role Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with a diverse range of special educational needs. Your responsibilities will include:
* Collaborating closely with teachers to cater to individual student requirements.
* Assisting students during classroom activities, ensuring their engagement and understanding.
* Providing one-on-one support to students with personal care and Social Emotional needs
* Implementing behaviour management strategies and maintaining a positive learning environment.
About School
Catering for children and young people aged 5 yrs to 19 yrs who have a range of complex and significant learning needs, Autism, Challenging Behaviour and Complex Needs.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, you should have:
* A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to adapt to varying student needs.
* Minimum 1 yr of experience working in a school or care setting in the UK (Mandatory)
* Proficiency in English Language (Mandatory)
* Right to Work in the UK (NO Sponsorship Provided. Candidates on Skilled Worker Visa are not eligible for this position)
