This is an ideal opportunity for a hygienist seeking a flexible one-day-per-week position within a friendly and supportive practice environment, while still benefiting from exposure to a broad range of treatments and a busy patient base.
Role Summary
* Position: Dental Hygienist
* Employment Type: Maternity Cover
* Potential: Possibility to become permanent
* Practice Type: Predominantly NHS with a smaller private quota
* Working Days: Wednesday or Thursday (1 day per week)
* Hours: 09:00 – 17:30
* Start Date: ASAP / June
Salary
* £40 per hour for an experienced Hygienist

Key Responsibilities
* Delivering high-quality hygiene treatments and preventative care
* Supporting long‑term periodontal maintenance and oral health education
* Building strong patient relationships and promoting ongoing care
* Maintaining accurate clinical records and compliance standardsWorking collaboratively with the wider dental team to ensure excellent patient outcomes
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* GDC-registered Dental Hygienist
* Professional, patient-focused, and reliable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desirable
* Experience using EXACT software
