We are supporting a leading organisation specialising in materials handling and automation solutions, seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor – Electrical to join their team in Tullamarine.
In this role, you will oversee the day‑to‑day operations and maintenance of the Materials Handling System (MHS) and associated freight equipment. You'll ensure the system operates safely, efficiently, and in line with key performance standards while providing strong leadership, technical expertise, and support to a skilled maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operational and maintenance activities of the MHS and associated systems
* Ensure all performance standards and KPIs are achieved in line with client requirements
* Coordinate maintenance scheduling, rostering and team management
* Provide hands‑on technical support and guidance to technicians
* Maintain accurate administration, reporting and documentation
* Support and promote a strong safety culture across the team
* Monitor system performance, analyse results and report on service levels
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability
* Manage budgets and resources effectively while maintaining quality outcomes
* Build and maintain strong work relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and clients
To be successful, you will possess the following:
* Unrestricted Electrical Licence
* Trade or tertiary qualifications
* Proven experience in supervisory or leadership role within maintenance or operations
* Strong understanding of automated control systems in materials handling or high speed environments
* Hands‑on experience with mechanical drives, pneumatics and hydraulics
* Strong computer literacy and ability to interpret technical information clearly
* Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills
* Proactive, logical and results‑driven approach
Nice to Have
* PLC programming or fault finding experience
* SCADA system knowledge
* WHS or management Qualification
