Primrose Hospice is seeking a compassionate andskilled Physiotherapist to join our dedicated multidisciplinary team. This rewarding role offers theopportunity to provide exceptional care to patients with long-term neurologicalconditions while contributing to our broader physiotherapy service and amultidisciplinary clinical team.
The ideal candidate will have experience or a keeninterest in working in end-of-life care and up to date knowledge of currentpalliative care issues is preferred, training and support will be given. The successful candidate must hold aProfessional Qualification or Degree in Physiotherapy as well as a stateregistration with a Professional Body.
You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life forour patients through
Neurological physiotherapy for patients with conditions includingmotor neurone disease, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, and otherprogressive neurological disorders.
Comprehensive assessment, treatment and planning tailoredto individual patient needs.
General physiotherapy services across ourhospice care settings.
Collaborative care working closely with our nursing team.
End-of-life care focusing on comfort, dignity, and symptom management.
Main duties of the job
The postholder will:
* manage a case loadofpatients with a variety of needs associated with life-limiting and / or chronicconditions and using patient centred evidence-based principles; to assess,plan, implement and evaluate interventions.

* workwith & direct the Clinical Support Assistant to support the Physiotherapyfunction
* bean integral part of the Clinical Services Team fully participating to providehigh quality, holistic care
* deliverquality education in palliative rehabilitation to the wider clinical community
* havethe ability and understanding of dealing with sensitive patient/carer issues
* actas role model demonstrating the highest standards of enabling palliativerehabilitative care

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Professional Qualification or Degree in Physiotherapy
* Post graduate experience as a qualified rehabilitation professional
* Full current driving licence with ability and willingness to use own vehicle
