This isn’t a role where you keep things ticking over. It’s one where you take full ownership of a unique Oxford estate and lead lasting change.
You’ll be the most senior estates person in the College, reporting directly to the Bursar, with a clear line into decision-making. You’ll shape long-term investment in the estate, lead a capable team, and deliver upgrades that matter, from environmental improvements to modernising listed buildings.
We’re a compact Oxford estate, centred on the main College site with a handful of nearby accommodation buildings.

What you’ll bring
You’ll have senior experience managing buildings and infrastructure, and you know your way around M&E systems. You’ll need a relevant degree (or equivalent), a Health & Safety qualification, and the confidence to operate independently.
Most importantly, you’ll have the credibility and judgement to win trust, and the communication skills to bring your team, contractors, academics, and senior committees with you.
