Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum (Subject to experience)
As Head of School for English, Maths and ESOL Under 19, you will play a pivotal and rewarding role in shaping high-quality study programmes for learners aged 16–19. You will work closely with students, curriculum teams and wider college colleagues to ensure the effective delivery of GCSE and Functional Skills provision. You will hold responsibility for key performance indicators, including achievement, progress, attendance and the overall quality of teaching, learning and assessment across English, Maths and ESOL Under 19.
Working alongside your Deputy Heads of School, you will lead the development of a responsive, innovative curriculum that supports students to secure the essential skills needed for their future education and employment. You will create and sustain a culture of high performance aligned to the College’s strategic ambitions, ensuring that learners experience high‑quality teaching and make strong progress in these crucial subjects.
