Your impact
Jacobs’ Global Marketing leads develop and execute annual marketing plans and go‑to‑market strategies for Jacobs’ global end markets (Cities & Places, Transportation, Environment, Water, etc.) or Capabilities (Global Program Management, Digital & Data, etc.).
As Global Marketing Lead for Transportation, this role serves as the strategic marketing advisor to the global end‑market leader, collaborating closely with sales, market solutions, public relations and regional marketing communications teams to support Jacobs’ growth, margin expansion, brand positioning, client and account engagement goals.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing Planning
* Serves as the trusted partner to the Transportation Market Directors, Submarket Leaders (Aviation, Rail & Transit, Ports & Maritime, Highways & Bridges) and Global Solutions Directors, owning the development and direction of the global transportation marketing strategy.
* Develops and maintains a robust, insight‑driven annual marketing plan aligned to the transportation growth priorities, revenue goals and Jacobs’ strategy.
* Shapes clear marketing priorities and campaigns tied to mode‑specific client challenges (e.g., airport capacity and passenger experience, rail modernization, port decarbonization, highway resilience and safety), solution differentiators, Jacobs’ growth ambitions and strategic growth bets.
* Facilitates quarterly planning, activation and refinement sessions in collaboration with internal stakeholders across submarkets and regions.
* Establishes governance to ensure consistency across regions while enabling local flexibility to meet geographic needs.
Campaign Development & Execution
* Leads creation and execution of integrated global campaigns (e.g., urban sustainability, transport decarbonization, PFAS), ensuring alignment with key pursuits, top‑account thought‑leadership themes and strategic solutions.
* Provides content, messaging and tactics customizable for geographies and audience segments.
* Works with communications and digital partners to execute paid, owned and earned media tactics across PR, web, social, events and internal channels.
* Collaborates with internal stakeholders to support marketing’s role in top global transportation pursuits and strategic accounts, identifying a shortlist of priority opportunities annually where early positioning and marketing support is required.
* Collaborates with geographic leads and PR team when necessary to draft press releases and develop communications, including speeches and talking points aligned with campaign narratives and key media opportunities.
Content & Thought Leadership
* Drives development of positioning content and thought leadership that communicates Jacobs’ differentiators, innovation and impact across integrated, multimodal transportation systems.
* Partners with subject matter experts and technical leaders to produce timely, high‑quality content such as articles, case studies, whitepapers, videos and digital assets.
* Maintains a consistent, credible content cadence across always‑on and campaign‑driven initiatives.
* Creates sales enablement content and toolkits (e.g., battlecards, capability statements, pitch decks) that equip client‑facing teams to effectively articulate Jacobs’ value differentiators.
* Translates complex technical offerings into compelling value propositions and client‑centric messaging.
Events & Conferences
* Leads global transportation event strategy, working with events teams to align with tier‑1 or tier‑2 industry forums and growth targets.
* Oversees delivery and brand alignment at key events, ensuring a high standard of execution.
* Measures and provides ROI, pipeline influence and client engagement outcomes to business.
* Ensures post‑event learnings and insights are captured and informs future activity.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Acts as the central point of contact and influencer across a matrixed organization, building strong relationships with global and regional stakeholders in operations, sales, market solutions and digital.
* Aligns marketing plans and outputs with business priorities, regional strategies and pursuit efforts.
* Exercises strong oversight and influence to unify messaging and execution across regions while enabling local teams to customize as needed.
Performance Measurement & Reporting
* Works with transportation stakeholders to align investments with strategic priorities.
* Traces marketing effectiveness using a balanced scorecard of KPIs on brand visibility, client engagement, pipeline influence and content performance.
* Delivers quarterly reporting and insights to stakeholders, including clear recommendations for optimization and continuous improvement.
Resource & Delivery Enablement
* Identifies delivery needs and collaborates with business stakeholders to secure marketing support, including the potential for shared or dedicated resources (e.g., through the Global Delivery Center).
* Leverages tools and AI to improve efficiency while recognising the ongoing importance of experienced human support for consistency, quality and execution.
This position can be based in any Jacobs office globally.

Base Salary
The base salary range for this position is $111,100.00 to $198,500.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
