A very exciting and unique opportunity has arisen at Bristol Haematology & Oncology Centre (BHOC) for a highly motivated, enthusiastic senior nurse to lead the Uro‑Oncology CNS team. This is a permanent part‑time post for 34 hrs per week, Monday‑Friday, with the option of flexible working considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the Uro‑Oncology CNS team through the provision of specialist nursing advice and support to patients and families throughout their care pathway.
* Work closely with all members of the multidisciplinary team involved in the Uro‑Oncology care pathway in both the outpatient and inpatient settings.
* Plan and deliver service improvement initiatives within the NHS, helping to shape the service we deliver to patients.
* Foster good working relationships with patients, their families and carers, and colleagues within the MDT team.
* Demonstrate excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills, and manage the team with confidence.
Key Qualifications and Experience
* Strong managerial and leadership background, with experience leading clinical teams.
* Excellent clinical skills, knowledge and expertise in haemato‑oncology or related nursing fields.
* Experience planning and delivering service improvement initiatives in the NHS.
* Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and build relationships with patients, families and carers.
* Flexible, self‑motivated, with strong organisational and communication skills.
