Sports Coach – Manchester:
Prospero Teaching are currently seeking passionate and proactive teaching assistants with sports coaching backgrounds to join a specialist SEMH provision in Manchester, on a full-time basis.
The Role:
1. Building positive relationships with pupils, encouraging progress and development
2. Supporting pupils on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups, incorporating sports, to encourage engagement
3. Developing an understanding of the different needs and learning styles of different pupils in the classroom
Position Details:
4. Position: Sports Coach
5. Location: Manchester
6. Type of Work: Temporary
7. Full-Time only
8. Minimum Rate of Pay: £ per day, depending on experience
9. Start date: ASAP
10. End date: Long-Term, Ongoing
Experience, Training & Qualifications:
11. Experience within a SEMH provision is highly desired
12. Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
13. A strong background in sports and coaching is required
14. A resilient, proactive and positive nature
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
15. Hold Right to Work in the UK
16. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
17. Provide two professional references
