Job Title: Year-End Accountant - Practice Location: Fully Remote (UK) Salary: £55-£65,000 PAYE Depending on Experience Contract Type: Contract - Until May 2026 About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Year-End Accountant to join a busy practice team. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a portfolio of mainly owner-managed businesses and some SMEs, preparing year-end accounts and corporation tax returns. The role is fully remote with flexibility and the potential to make a real impact across multiple client accounts. Key Responsibilities: Preparation of statutory accounts under FRS 105 and FRS 102 1A. Preparation and submission of corporation tax returns. Management of high volume year-end accounts over the busy season. Ensure accounts are accurate, compliant, and audit-ready. Review bookkeeping records, make necessary adjustments, and resolve discrepancies. Liaise with clients where necessary to clarify data and ensure completeness. Maintain clear and organised working papers for internal review. What We're Looking For: Part-qualified (QBE) or fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. Previous experience in a practice environment is preferred. Experience with Xero, TaxCalc, or similar accounting software. Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management skills.
