Job Title: Senior Parts Manager (Agricultural) Job description: We are looking for a Senior Agricultural Parts Manager for our new bespoke purpose built depot at Wardon Hill Business Park, near Dorchester (DT29PW), our main franchises are Case IH, Manitou, McHale, RS Agri, Hi Spec, Bomford and AW Trailers along with many more. We are looking for an experienced parts manager with agricultural knowledge, to take our expanding stores and parts centre to the next level alongside an existing team of experienced staff. Key Attributes: Agricultural machinery knowledge Case IH and Manitou Portal Experience IBCOS Systems Knowledge Able to operate seasonal and out of season stocking programmes Able to think out of the box to create solutions To achieve KPI and accreditations for our main franchises To work closely with the Depot and Workshop Manager To be proactive on current trends and parts requirements To create and maintain systems that enable workshop efficiency To be involved in marketing and promotions To increase turnover and profitability for the stores department Support workshop and sales departments Must be able to communicate effectively with both customers and staff Must be IT Literate able to Use Word, Excel and CSV Programmes Ability to work Saturday mornings on a Rota The wide range of activities within agriculture means that there is always something happening and add to this the seasonal requirements of this business sector, means that we are always striving to give the best service possible to our customers 24/7 demonstrating our motto "Working Harder for the Countryside" This job is not for the faint hearted, it is fast paced and challenging, the role requires someone who can work under pressure to keep our customers moving. If you have an engineering background and are used to sourcing parts through manufactures portals, then this could be the move you have been waiting for, we will also look to train and maintain any training required for all of our members of staff alongside our key franchise partners.
