The opportunity has arisen for a commercially focused finance professional to join a fast-paced and evolving finance team initially on a one year fixed term contact, with a view to permanence. This position offers broad exposure across management reporting, commercial finance, audit, tax and business partnering, making it ideal for someone keen to progress their finance career within a dynamic environment. Working closely with senior finance leadership and cross-functional teams, the successful candidate will play an important role in delivering accurate financial insight, supporting operational decision-making and driving continuous improvement across finance processes. Key areas of responsibility will include: Assisting with the production of monthly management accounts and supporting reporting packs Providing detailed analysis on sales performance, margins and profitability across key brands/business areas Partnering with commercial stakeholders to review financial performance and strengthen financial controls Monitoring overhead spend, investigating variances against budget and preparing supporting commentary Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting processes Assisting with statutory audit preparation and responding to audit queries Preparing tax submissions and supporting wider compliance requirements Raising and managing purchase orders across the business Identifying opportunities to improve systems, reporting and finance processes Supporting ad hoc reporting and analysis requests from management The ideal candidate will be ambitious, analytical and eager to develop within a commercially focused finance environment. Applicants should meet one of the following criteria: IATI qualified with at least 1 years relevant finance experience; or Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline and currently studying towards ACCA/CIMA; or A minimum of 3 years experience within a finance function In addition, candidates should demonstrate: Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with non-finance stakeholders A proactive and adaptable approach to work Strong organisational skills and attention to detail The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team A continuous improvement mindset with an interest in streamlining processes Why Apply?
