Our Customer Delivery Driver rate of pay starts from £13.35 an hour; this increases to £14.56 for stores inside the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
It's our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, with options for fewer hours (minimum 12). We are flexible with scheduling and support work-life balance.
We value customer service and community engagement, as our drivers meet and assist customers daily. The role involves driving, delivering, and providing excellent service with a smile.
Responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized.
* Maintaining a tidy delivery area and picking up litter.
* Loading the van and checking its roadworthiness.
* Communicating with customers about order changes and substitutions.
* Delivering orders within the scheduled time slots.
* Calling customers before early arrivals and informing stores if delayed.
Requirements:
* Build positive relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Be welcoming and responsive to customer needs.
* Adapt quickly to changing customer demands.
* Share ideas for store improvements.
* Hold a valid UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
