About the Role
Rainbow Trust Children’s Charity is looking to appoint an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to lead and deliver marketing campaigns that will drive awareness of Rainbow Trust and support fundraising activity to strengthen our position as experts in children’s palliative care. This broad and exciting role includes creating, developing and delivering brand campaigns and communication strategies.
Reporting to the Head of Engagement, you will take the lead on generating creative, engaging content and ideas for fundraising and brand awareness campaigns that drive increased targeted engagement to showcase our work, build on our organisational strategy and deliver our fundraising ambition.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver marketing campaigns to increase awareness and support fundraising.
* Generate creative and engaging content for brand awareness and fundraising initiatives.
* Develop and implement communication and media strategies aligned with organisational goals.
* Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to drive campaign success.
* Maintain a sense of urgency and effectiveness in completing tasks while delegating appropriately.
Qualifications
* Experienced Marketing and Communications Manager with a motivational and engaging style.
* Outgoing and collaborative with strong rapport‑building skills.
* Efficient multi‑tasker, working at a fast pace with thorough follow‑up.
* Innovative, practical, and creative problem‑solver with experience in developing and delivering communication and media strategy.
* Preferable background in the charity/not‑for‑profit sector with marketing, PR, and communications experience.
