We are seeking an experienced Head of Operations to join our expanding business in Sesley, West Sussex. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, you will provide strong, collaborative leadership within the factory, overseeing a 24/7, profitable, and efficient food manufacturing operation aligned with our customer delivery strategy.
Responsibilities
* Develop long and short-term objectives for the manufacturing unit in collaboration with the COO and site leadership team, including managing all related aspects of the operation and leading matrixed teams.
* Ensure full accountability for delivering all KPIs for the site.
* Evaluate the structural impact of strategic decisions on operational delivery, keeping stakeholders informed of potential negative impacts.
* Manage the financial performance of the factories, ensuring Shift Managers understand their targets and expectations.
* Optimize all aspects of production, including controlling direct and indirect costs.
* Deliver high-quality products consistently to customers.
* Maintain and enhance relationships with customers at all levels, adopting a humble, authentic, and non-hierarchical approach.
* Develop strategic relationships with the senior leadership team and foster a culture of cooperation and collaboration to maximize financial gains for NWF.
