Midday Assistant - Glossop (Part-Time)
Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Midday Assistant to support a friendly and welcoming school in the Glossop area. This is a part-time role, perfect for individuals seeking reduced hours or those looking to gain valuable experience within a school setting.
The Role:As a Midday Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils during the lunchtime period, ensuring a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment for all children.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervising pupils in the dining hall and outdoor play areas
* Encouraging positive behaviour and social interaction
* Assisting with basic first aid where required
* Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children during lunchtime
* Supporting children with their meals where necessary
The Ideal Candidate:
* Enthusiastic, caring, and approachable
* Able to engage positively with children of primary school age
* Reliable and punctual
* Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential
