Clark Wood is partnering with a forward-thinking firm of accountants in Henley-on-Thames to find a Personal Tax Senior to join their team.
In this essential role, you will work closely with clients to provide expert tax advice, develop innovative tax strategies, and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Manage a portfolio of clients and oversee their tax affairs.
Prepare and review personal tax returns and computations.
Complete and review P11Ds and PSAs.
Collaborate with senior staff on technical tax advisory projects.
Conduct ad hoc technical research and prepare advisory reports.
Assist with HMRC enquiries.
Handle ATED and employment-related securities returns.
Address ad hoc tax queries from accounts and audit teams, as well as clients.
Provide training to junior team members and manage workflow.
Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have substantial personal tax experience gained within an accountancy firm and hold qualifications such as CTA, ATT, ACA, or ACCA.
