About the Role
Internal candidates only. A Data Flow Analyst will support the Hereford leadership team with the management of operational systems and processes across multiple departments, including CAT², IT, Logistics and Projects.
The role is on site, Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:00, in Hereford.
What you’ll be doing
* Manage system failures, perform data analysis and optimize processes.
* Create and deliver ongoing training and support for the Hereford site in terms of process and data management.
* Lead initiatives for automating processes and reducing operational costs.
* Promote company values and foster a culture of teamwork and engagement.
* Support ongoing and future projects.
Key responsibilities
* CAT² support:
o Ensure processes are fully integrated with automated systems.
o Ensure the systems complement financial reporting workstreams.
o Identify, troubleshoot and resolve any system or physical process failures.
o Keep systems updated with the latest process changes.
* IT support:
o Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues, including printer maintenance.
o Provide technical support for site‑wide scan guns.
o Assist with queries, ensuring efficient data retrieval and reporting.
* Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to operational processes to enhance site efficiency.
* Lead initiatives for automation and cost reduction through innovative solutions.
* Demonstrate company values and promote teamwork.
What you’ll need to be successful
* Experience working in an operational/warehouse environment; food industry experience preferred.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
* Strong troubleshooting skills and a drive for continuous improvement.
* Ability to build good working relationships with peers and colleagues.
* Computer literate.
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
Essential
* Strong technical background with experience in Microsoft 365 and CAT².
* Experience in various WMS and a proven record of contributing to change and improvement initiatives.
Desirable
* IOSH Managing Safely, Food Safety Management Level 3, or willingness to obtain it.
* Knowledge of continuous improvement and lean principles.
* Experience in process optimisation and automation.
* Use of warehouse management systems.
