Role Description
The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to attract and secure new business, managing client relationships, and achieving sales targets. Daily tasks include identifying potential clients, conducting sales presentations, negotiating contracts, and collaborating with the events team to ensure successful event delivery. The Sales Manager will also monitor market trends and provide regular reports on sales performance. This role will focus on the associations market.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in sales, particularly in the events, hospitality or associations industry
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
* Customer relationship management and client-focused approach
* Knowledge of market trends and analytical abilities
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
