Summary
The Marketing Director is responsible for providing direction, guidance, and leadership to the marketing department. This role oversees all execution of marketing initiatives including advertising, campaigns, sales promotion, in-store events, visual displays, and vendor partnerships.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with vendor partners on developing and executing annual co-op plans and budgets, and oversee all marketing initiatives and events.
* Manage budgets and forecasts, analyze costs, ROI projections, and actuals.
* Manage third-party providers and partners, such as creative agencies, printers, media, contractors, and logistics.
* Oversee marketing support and planning for trunk shows, pop-up shops, and store openings/closings.
* Handle financial reconciliation and accounting processes.
* Develop and execute sales promotion calendars, event schedules, and advertising strategies, including email and direct marketing.
* Negotiate marketing-related contracts.
Requirements
* Strong operational and analytical marketing skills.
* Project management skills with high attention to detail.
* Experience in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
* Experience managing collaborative vendor partnerships and co-op programs.
* BA or Marketing degree preferred.
