Job Title: Manufacturing New Product Development (NPD) Engineer Location: Cambridgeshire - hybrid working Type: Permanent Salary: Competitive benefits (outlined below) SRG are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in new product development and introduction based in Cambridgeshire. This is a key role in ensuring the seamless transition of new products from development through to full-scale production. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in new product development (NPD) and NPI within a manufacturing environment. Key responsibilities (including but not limited to): Lead new product development activities Support cross-functional project teams including R&D, quality and operations teams Work closely with suppliers and internal teams, ensuring materials and components are available to ensure assembly and test processes are robust Ensure documentation is up-to-date and generate regular progress reports for stakeholders Develop and manage the delivery of PPAP requirements for new products Identify and implement process improvements. Key requirements: Proven experience in NPD/NPI within a manufacturing environment Have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and scale-up from concept to production Excellent problem-solving and time management skills as you will be heading multiple projects at the same time.
