Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal FOH (Front of House) Team and Golf Services member to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic hospitality environment, delivering exceptional service to our guests. Responsibilities
* Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
* Golf Reception Duties - ensuring members, visitors and guests with making sure they enjoy their leisure time.
* Take accurate orders and communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation
* Assist with food preparation and presentation as required, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
* Serve food and beverages efficiently, upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, counters, and service stations
* Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using the POS system
* Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests or concerns
* Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation of the restaurant
* Help with evening events if needed.
* Covering staff holidays and sickness in customer facing departments.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
* Previous reception duties is an advantage but full training will be given.
* Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and bill calculations
* Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanour
* Ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Flexibility to work seasonal hours, including weekends and evenings as required
* A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance guest experience
