Assistant Shop Manager (Part-time)
Sense is currently recruiting for an Assistant Shop Manager to work 15 hours, 2 days per week at our shop in Denbigh on a permanent basis.
This role is part of our shop growth programme. The successful applicant will lead and inspire an enthusiastic team, drive delivery of standards, operational and customer service excellence to maximise vital income generation for the charity.
* Build, train and inspire a great team of volunteers.
* Deliver superb shop standards, offer and customer engagement.
* Drive stock generation and community engagement.
Each year over four million people buy an item from us; our shops play a pivotal role in raising brand awareness and income to change lives.
Key skills and experience
* Self‑motivated, creative, great communicator and positively committed to working in charity retail.
* Experience inspiring a team to provide excellent customer service.
* Eye for detail ensuring a safe, clean and inviting environment for customers, staff and volunteers.
* Experience working in a retail environment or in a team‑leader position.
The position requires willingness to work Bank Holidays and weekends as required, with flexibility to work across seven days of the week.
