What you will do
* Build and maintain positive relationships with children and young people in our care along with their families to achieve safety and stability.
* Model high standards of professional social work practice within a challenging and fast-paced environment.
* Conduct thorough assessments to ensure improved consistent outcomes for children and young people, avoiding drift or delay for families.
* Collaborate effectively in a multi-agency and court environment to support the best possible outcomes.
* Stay well-informed of the relevant legislation, models, and theories in children’s social work.
Skills and experience
* A recognised social work qualification with registration from Social Work England.
* Successful completion of your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment ASYE.
* Experience in social care, especially in a multi-agency setting and court environment.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong recording and planning abilities.
* A valid UK driving licence with access to a car for necessary travel to meet service needs.
