Job Overview
A&M is seeking a dedicated IT Field Services Support Specialist to join our London office. This full‑time, on‑site role requires the right to work in the UK. The incumbent will support UK and international users through a walk‑up desk, email, telephone, and remote tools for all technology‑related problems. The role is integral to ensuring seamless technology operations across our global network.
Responsibilities
* Facilitate walk‑ups at ServiceDesk and utilize the incident knowledge base platform (ServiceNow).
* Analyze, diagnose, document, resolve, or escalating reported issues and outages.
* Assist other IT departments, including engineering, operations, and infrastructure applications/hardware.
* Configure, install, and troubleshoot laptops, mobile devices, and printers.
* Respond to all user support inquiries globally.
Supported Applications include MS Office 2016 – O365 suites, Commvault, Cisco products (Jabber, WebEx, AnyConnect VPN, Call Manager CUC‑M), JAMF, Active Directory, Shared Drive/Folder permissions, Bitlocker, MBAM, GoTo Rescue, SCCM, Video & Audio Conferencing administration, Apple iOS, Android, 2FA/MFA, VOIP connectivity, LAN connectivity, Mimecast, Intune.
Qualifications
* Educated in technology preferred.
* Prior experience in help‑desk or technical support environment.
* Solid understanding of MS Office 2016‑O365.
* Proven background in customer service and ability to handle stressful, time‑sensitive situations.
* Telephone customer service experience required.
* Fundamental understanding of PC hardware/software and connectivity.
* Experience with Windows 10–11 and Mac OS 13–15 preferred.
* Knowledge of MS Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint.
* Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, VPN, TCP/IP.
* Good understanding of ITIL based structure.
* Exposure to HP/Lenovo ThinkPad, Dell, MacBook, iPhone, Android.
* Previous experience with incident management/tracking systems required.
* Availability for weekend and after‑hours support, and light travel.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
