Job Summary
I are seeking a compassionate and reliable childminder's assistant to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in childcare and be able to engage children in educational and fun activities. This role requires a commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the children while fostering their development through play, teaching, and guidance.
Duties
* Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
* Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
* Assist with homework and educational tasks, encouraging curiosity and creativity.
* Prepare meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met.
* Maintain a clean and organised environment for the children.
* Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
* Provide transportation for children as needed, including school runs or extracurricular activities.
* Support children's social skills through playdates and group activities.
Requirements
* Proven experience in childcare or nannying is essential.
* Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of French is a plus.
* Strong teaching skills to assist with educational activities.
* Valid driving licence with a clean driving record preferred for transportation duties.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children.
