EC&I Manager (Design) Full-time role (40 hours per week) Salary: £75,000 – £85,000 per annum (depending on experience) Based in Stockport, Cheshire About the Company We are a growing SME design consultancy with 45 engineers and designers, supporting a wide variety of sectors, including whisky distilling, chemical, and pharmaceutical. With around 30 active projects at any time, our typical design project values reach up to £3 million in fees. About the Role The EC&I Manager (Design) will lead the Electrical, Control & Instrumentation discipline within the consultancy. This is a senior role combining technical leadership, people management, and commercial input, with responsibility for delivering high-quality EC&I engineering across multiple projects. In the initial phase, the role will remain largely hands-on, with approximately 80% fee-earning project work, reducing over time as the department and workload grow.
