Overview
The Governance & Compliance Operational Lead role supports the Trust’s governance framework. You will work closely with senior leaders, trustees and governors to deliver statutory guidance, governance assurance, policy coordination and clerking support.

* Title: Governance & Compliance Operational Lead
* Trust: Esteem Multi‑Academy Trust
* Grade: 11 (Points 24-27)
* Salary: £39,865 – £43,270 per annum
* Contract: 37 hours per week, all year round (part‑time or term‑time considered)
* Location: Esteem Multi‑Academy Trust (headquarters)
Responsibilities
* Provide expert guidance on statutory requirements.
* Lead governance assurance processes.
* Coordinate policies and compliance systems.
* Deliver high‑quality clerking and organisational support.
* Strengthen governance framework and champion best practice.
Qualifications
* Relevant governance experience in a similar role.
* Strong knowledge of statutory and regulatory frameworks.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to deliver meticulous work to tight deadlines.
