Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
* Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
* Prepare treatment rooms by sterilising instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready.
* Provide pre- and post-treatment care instructions to patients.
* Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
* Support patients by answering questions and providing reassurance throughout their visit.
* Ensure the clinic adheres to health and safety standards, including infection control protocols.
* Manage appointment scheduling and organise patient flow efficiently.
* Support administrative tasks such as stock management and liaising with suppliers.
Experience
* Previous experience in a dental or healthcare setting is desirable.
* Strong patient care skills with a focus on compassion and professionalism.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Basic IT proficiency for maintaining patient records and handling administrative duties.
* Knowledge of nursing principles relevant to dental care is advantageous but not mandatory; relevant training will be provided for suitable candidates committed to learning.
