About this Role
This is your chance to join a fast-growing part of Dawsongroup, supporting the shift towards smarter, low and zero carbon energy solutions. As Depot Assistant, you'll be key to keeping our depot running smoothly, preparing and maintaining equipment, and supporting the wider service team. Training will be provided to help you build new skills.
* Clean, test, and prepare a wide range of hire equipment
* Support loading and unloading using forklifts (training provided if needed)
* Keep the depot, workshop, and yard safe, tidy, and well organised
* Assist the service team with day-to-day tasks, including driving or towing when required
* Use our computer-based system for simple record-keeping and admin
About You
You'll be practical, hands-on, and happy to get stuck in. This role suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, is willing to learn, and works well as part of a team. Don't worry if you don't tick every box, we're looking for potential and attitude as much as experience.
* Experience in maintaining or repairing tools or equipment is helpful but not essential
* Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge would be an advantage
* Physically fit, hardworking, and reliable
* Comfortable using computers for simple tasks
* A positive team player who is flexible and eager to learn
