What Are We Looking For?
Due to our continued and sustainable growth, Aquazone is looking for a Mechanical Fitter to join us on a permanent basis at our Fabrication Workshop in Great Yarmouth. You will work alongside an established team and be required to fabricate pipework and manifolds from drawings through safe use of hand tools, machinery, and other equipment.
Established in 1995, Aquazone has risen to become one of the industry’s leading providers of off-site manufactured Chemical Dosing Systems. With an established fleet of temporary bulk storage & dosing systems, combined with our extensive off-site fabrication capabilities & several framework agreements with the leading UK Water Authorities, we are primed to continue our growth journey.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
* Fabricate pipework from drawings to client & industry specifications.
* Perform maintenance/repair work of existing installations.
* Use hand tools, machinery, and other equipment safely.
* Assist other disciplines when required.
* Comply with company Health and Safety, Quality, and Environmental management systems.
* Support the business with other tasks as requested within your skills & knowledge.
* Opportunities to work both within our local fabrication workshop and remotely as part of our national site installation team.
What Do You Need?
* Time served with experience within the fabrication/engineering industry.
* The ability to operate a range of equipment, including grinders, table saw, circular saw & battery-operated tools.
* A good understanding of organization & sequencing of tasks & work to fulfill a build.
* Full UK Driving Licence
