Overview
We are seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to support the smooth and efficientrunning of daily warehouse operations. You will play a key role in leading theteam, maintaining high operational standards, and supporting the ShiftOperations Manager to drive performance and foster a positive workingenvironment across the shift.
Location: Wakefield
ShiftPattern: 4 on 4 off 06:00-18:00
Key Responsibilities
* Allocate tasks and manage the team’s workload.
* Ensure accurate processing of inbound and outbound deliveries and maintain all required documentation and system records.
* Monitor productivity, quality, and safety standards.
* Train and support the team, conduct shift briefings, and communicate operational updates.
* Resolve operational issues and discrepancies.
* Work closely with planning, engineering, and management teams to ensure effective coordination across the operation.
Requirements
* Strong warehouse experience with a proven background in supervising or leading people.
* Solid understanding of warehouse processes.
* Confident using warehouse management systems.
* Clear and professional communication.
* Strong people skills, organized and proactive approach, ability to perform well in a fast‑pacedenvironment.
* An FLT licence.
