We have an exciting opportunity for a security officer to join our team at Loughborough College Group, based at Brooksby College. The post holder requires flexibility to work a rotational shift pattern. Working 22 hours per week over 2 days. The shifts are Saturday and Sunday; hours will be discussed at interview. Whilst your main days of work will be Saturday‑Sunday, some flexibility may be required.
Key Responsibilities
* Regular surveillance patrols across the College campus
* Being a point of contact for learners, colleagues and visitors
* Providing a customer‑focused presence on site
* Enforce the college’s behaviour policy to provide a safer environment for all staff and students and an overall better visitor experience
Requirements
You will be able to demonstrate a professional approach and show your ability to work on your own initiative. To be considered for the role, you will have experience providing security and/or locking down buildings on a large site. Applicants must hold an SIA license and possess or be willing to work towards a recognised First Aid Qualification. Applicants must have the right to work in the country without the need for sponsorship. All applicants will be subject to an enhanced DBS check.
