Responsibilities
* Create detailed electrical schematics, 2D layouts, and wiring diagrams for control panels, compliant with customer specifications and industry standards using CAD software for electrical design (AutoCAD Electrical).
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into new machinery
* Support the panel assembly team during build and testing phases of control panels
* Document design revisions, support DCNs (Design Change Notices), and participate in design reviews
* Support the commissioning team to ensure successful FAT and SAT
Requirements / Person
* Completed a formal qualification in an Engineering discipline
* Demonstrate a practical approach to engineering to develop cost effective solution that meet customer requirements
* You will be proficient in CAD software for electrical design (AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar)
* Ideally will have experience with machine safety and functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849)
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Enjoy the technical aspects in this role
* Ideally have gained experience in a dynamic engineering role and you are able to enjoy the attention to detail
* Enjoy working with a variety of people and able to apply a logical approach to your work
