What you’ll do
As a key member of our finance team, you’ll be responsible for:
1. Data Analysis & Insight: Dive deep into large data sets to uncover trends, anomalies, and opportunities. Prepare accurate financial reports and provide insightful commentary to support strategic decisions.
2. Business Partnering: Collaborate with finance colleagues and business units to challenge assumptions, influence decisions, and drive value.
3. Financial Control: Ensure robust financial controls are in place and adhered to, maintaining the integrity of our financial data.
4. Problem Solving: Act as a go-to expert for complex queries, proactively resolving issues and identifying root causes.
5. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement operational efficiencies to streamline processes and enhance performance.
Training
The gold standard in Accountancy qualifications, this programme is designed to develop apprentices into fully competent, confident, and credible finance professionals. Developed in partnership with globally recognised institutes, employers, and firms of all sizes, a Kaplan Accountancy qualification is anything but standard.
The ACCA pathway is suited to individuals working in roles with responsibilities in accountancy, auditing, taxation, and financial management. Upon passing all assessments and completing work experience requirements, learners will gain ACCA chartered certified status, becoming a Chartered Certified Accountant.
The CIMA pathway is ideal if the role involves business partnering across functions within your organisation. Topics include business accounting, management accounting, and strategic marketing management. Upon completion, learners will gain CGMA Professional qualification and become a Chartered Management Accountant.
Qualifications required
* At least 1 year of industry experience
* High level of education
Skills required
* Experience in a finance/accounting role
* Proficient in Excel (pivot tables, formatting, etc.)
