We’re looking for a confident HR Advisor to join our client based near Wetherby on a part time, permanent basis. This role is great for someone who enjoys variety and balancing HR Advisory work and administration. You’ll be the go-to for line managers on HR policies and employee relations issues (like disciplinaries and grievances), and you'll support key areas like recruitment, onboarding, and maintaining HR systems and files. You’ll also help keep our processes running smoothly, from drafting contracts and tracking HR metrics to helping with projects and policy updates. This is a brilliant opportunity to build on your generalist HR skills and get involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle in a supportive, down-to-earth team. Key Responsibilities : Advise and coach managers on HR policies, employment law, and employee issues. Manage various ER cases independently (e.g. disciplinaries, grievances, absences). Support recruitment, onboarding, and general HR lifecycle processes. Maintain accurate employee records and produce contracts and documentation. Assist with payroll processing and ensure data accuracy. Lead Occupational Health referrals and contribute to wellbeing support. Get involved in HR projects and day-to-day admin tasks. Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures. About you : Proven experience managing various employee relations cases from start to finish. Experience of working in fast-paced SME’s Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. Comfortable working autonomously while knowing when to escalate or seek input. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels. Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in written work and documentation. Proactive, organised, and able to manage a varied workload effectively. Experience using HR systems Flexible, team-oriented, and willing to support with all aspects of HR work, including administrative tasks. CIPD Qualification at level 5 or above This role will be part time and the expected hours are 25 to 30 hours over Monday to Friday. There is some flexibility with the days of work.
