Salary Circa £50k, salary depending on skills and experience Permanent, 37 Hours a week Peterborough Warehouse - Alwalton Hill 25 days annual leave, private healthcare, bonus, double match pension up to 6% Join Our Logistics Team - Keep Anglian Water Flowing Anglian Water (AW) Logistics is responsible for supplying materials and spare parts to all areas of the business, primarily from the Central Distribution Centre in Peterborough. Operating 24/7, Logistics is a critical enabler in maintaining continuous water supply to customers and preventing pollutions. The Logistics SAP Business Analyst plays a key role in ensuring that Logistics operations align with SAP S/4 HANA processes. The role will initially focus on system migration to S4 (from ECC6), switching to identifying opportunities to improve data quality, reporting and process efficiency. What will you be doing? Improve Logistics Processes and Data Ensure data integrity and stock accuracy through audits, investigations, and reconciliation. Support enhancements to material data via end-user engagement. Gather and document business requirements for continuous improvement. Configure and support SAP S/4HANA in areas like goods receipt, inventory management, picking, and transfers. Develop performance analytics in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) to monitor key metrics (e.g. pick errors, discrepancies, efficiency). Support Warehouse Adherence to SAP Processes Optimise warehouse operations using SAP S/4HANA modules (EWM, MM, SD, ERP, IM). Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align data outputs with business processes. Troubleshoot SAP-related warehouse issues and implement fixes with IT. Deliver end-user training to ensure consistent and efficient SAP usage. Maintain documentation for SAP configurations, process flows, and user guides. Support Business as Usual (BaU) tasks, including duty manager responsibilities, to maintain operational continuity. Support System Change Translate business requirements into SAP solutions and provide technical input for change requests. Lead system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live support for new modules or enhancements. We're looking for someone who demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, and the tact and influence to drive change through effective engagement across technical and operational teams. 3-5 years' experience working as a SAP Business Analyst or Functional Consultant Experience in SAP system configuration and customisation in a warehouse environment Proficient in data analysis and reporting; as a minimum proficient in MS Excel Experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly in modules such as EWM, WM, MM, SD, ERP and IM, SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), or embedded analytics - desirable Experience implementing IT/system change (including UAT and training) - desirable Logistic/warehouse operations experience and/or examples of enacting process improvements - desirable Why apply for the position?
