Job Description Key Responsibilities As Head Chef, you’ll play a pivotal role in launching and leading a vibrant, multi-outlet kitchen operation at one of the region’s most exciting new destinations. Your responsibilities will include: Leading the culinary direction across the farm’s food outlets, including the Farmshop, Café Restaurant, Barista Coffee Bar, Playbarn Café, Concessions, and Events & Hospitality spaces Building and managing a skilled kitchen team, ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene across all outlets Overseeing daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, stock control, supplier relationships, allergen management, and cost control Collaborating with front-of-house and events teams to deliver seamless service for school visits, seasonal events, weddings, and private functions Maintaining consistency and excellence across a logistically varied site, ensuring smooth kitchen operations and timely service Implementing and upholding food safety and quality standards, including full compliance with HACCP procedures Delivering exceptional hospitality experiences through creative, seasonal, and locally inspired menus Driving innovation and continuous improvement, adapting menus and operations based on feedback, trends, and evolving visitor needs
