Role Overview – Quantity Surveyor
A Quantity Surveyor is required to support multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, taking responsibility for cost management, commercial oversight, and supporting effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead cost planning, forecasting, and cost control activities across design and construction projects.
* Develop cost-saving approaches while maintaining expected standards and project quality.
* Prepare, review, and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and variations.
* Track and report on project costs, commercial risks, and financial performance.
* Build strong working relationships with clients, suppliers, and delivery partners.
* Ensure all commercial activity aligns with relevant standards, regulations, and internal processes.
Skills & Experience Required
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or a closely related discipline.
* Previous experience working as a Quantity Surveyor within construction or infrastructure.
* Strong grasp of contract management, procurement routes, and cost management principles.
* Confident communicator with the ability to work collaboratively and manage a varied workload.
* Competent using project and commercial management tools/software.
Able to gain SC Clearance is required
