The Performance and Quality Lead is an exciting new position within the expanding pan London Drive team, a high risk / high harm domestic abuse perpetrator intervention. You will be a key part of the senior leadership team, working alongside the Service Manager, Team Leaders, and Advanced Practitioners to ensure high-quality case management across the workforce, consistency in recording, enhanced practice, and reduced domestic abuse risk. You will ensure opportunities to reduce domestic abuse risk are utilized and each case receives an enhanced level of care and attention.

Responsibilities

Quality Assurance

* Regularly review Drive cases to identify good practice and areas for development in line with gold practice and Respect Accreditation Standards.
* Provide feedback reviews to Service Manager and Team Leaders in a timely manner.
* Identify emerging practice themes and subject matter for practice development.
* Review and quality assure case studies, collating good practice examples for feedback on a borough, BCU, or Pan London basis.
* Conduct observations of case managers in service user and multi-agency meetings, providing feedback on good practice and areas for development.

Performance

* Support the team to enhance the collection of demographic data.
* Assist in identifying multi-agency information sharing challenges and work with the local case manager and senior leadership team to address these.
* Create and implement a 3-month check and review system to minimize 'case drift' and ensure Drive adds maximum value across London.
* Enhance collation of service user feedback, ensuring it is gathered in written and verbal form.
* Complete mid-behaviour and change reviews with service users and feedback to case managers.
* Support the senior leadership team in conducting Practice Supervision with Case Managers when required.
* Collate professional feedback of their experiences of Drive and utilize this information to support case manager development and highlight additional outcomes.

Interagency Work

* Represent the service at operational multi-agency meetings, providing feedback on initiatives and outcomes, and contributing to the evaluation of the quality of activities offered.
* Understand and implement institutional advocacy by partner agencies, acknowledging best practices and striving for change to benefit individuals, the service, and the sector.
* Facilitate case consultations with external agencies to identify opportunities to reduce risk and assess the appropriateness for Drive.
* Work closely with other professionals to ensure risk management and safeguarding duties are effectively met.
* Develop and maintain effective partnerships with statutory, private, and voluntary agencies to address domestic abuse issues.
* Be flexible and willing to work in all types of environments.

Recording and Administration

* Maintain high standards in case recording, understanding the importance of timely documentation and good practice standards.
* Be familiar with Respect accreditation standards for conducting case audits.
* Make clear rationale decisions and enter all required information into the Drive case management system.
* Weekly maintain and ensure an accurate and secure audit trail of all relevant communication.
* Possess organizational skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
* Comply with data protection and information sharing protocols agreed by Drive.

General

* Stay up-to-date and compliant with relevant legislation, policies, and professional codes of conduct, including GDPR.
* Represent the service at local events, deliver training, and presentations as required.
* Contribute to the learning process to improve services to perpetrators of domestic abuse, ensuring service users' and agencies' experiences inform this process.
* Evidently practice reflectively, sharing learning and reviewing individual and team practices regularly.
* Act with integrity and respect when interacting with service users, colleagues, agencies, and individuals.
* Be competent in making defensible decisions, recording accurately, and being accountable.

Experience: Essential

* Experience working within a public protection/safeguarding multi-agency setting, e.g., Child protection, vulnerable adults, MARAC, MAPPA.
* Managing safeguarding issues and procedures.
* Writing and presenting information formally and informally to diverse audiences.
* Working within legislative frameworks to develop, influence, and encourage partnership working.
* Keeping reliable and timely reports and meeting deadlines.
* High-level knowledge of domestic abuse, including familial abuse, coercive control, and risk assessment.
