Job Overview
Reporting to the Head of Estates, the Mechanical Building Services Engineer/Project Manager will be responsible for arranging planned and ad‑hoc repairs and maintenance of building and mechanical services, ensuring satisfactory completion.
Responsibilities
Arranging planned and ad‑hoc repairs and maintenance of building and mechanical services, ensuring satisfactory completion.
Project managing major M&E maintenance works, ensuring effective liaison with local operational managers to minimise operational disruption and ensure continuity of service.
Ensuring critical areas served by Mechanical and Electrical services, including Building Management Systems, are maintained in good working order, as well as ensuring a regular programme of maintenance and repair to all buildings is maintained.
Having working knowledge of the operation of MVHR, AHU's, HVAC, CRAC systems including modes of operation and fault diagnostics.

Experience
Experience of working within the NHS as well as HTMs and HBNs would be advantageous but by no means essential.

Due to the multi‑site nature of their property Portfolio, the client is looking for a well organised and autonomous self‑starter, who possesses excellent communication skills and demonstrates a collaborative style of working.
Contract Details
Build Recruitment is working with an NHS Trust in the Southeast to source an Interim Mechanical Building Services Engineer/Project Manager. A minimum 3 month contract paying £36 p/h (Umbrella).
