The Role
We are seeking an exceptional, hands-on Sales Director to lead and elevate our sales function during a significant phase of growth.
This is a high-impact leadership role with full P&L accountability, responsible for driving revenue, profitability, and performance across both our core sales business and partnership channel. You will work closely with the owners and senior leadership team, while being highly visible within the day-to-day operation.
This role is HQ-based and hands-on, you will be embedded within the business, supporting Sales Managers, engaging with live deals, and helping shape outcomes.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Commercial & Financial Leadership
* Full ownership of sales P&L, delivering against net profit, volume, and RPU targets. Taking ownership of the numbers – ensuring business performs profitably against financial budget, forecasts are reliable and decisions made are commercially sound.
Sales Leadership & Execution
* Leading multiple Sales Managers, and their team of Leasing Consultants to deliver consistent high performance, month by month. Being present, accessible, and actively involved in day-to-day sales activity. Driving accountability, standards, and “right first time” quality across the sales divisions.
People, Culture & Growth
* Building a high-performance, values-led sales culture
* Hiring, developing, and retaining top talent
* Elevating coaching, training, and capability across the team
Strategy, Systems & Innovation
* Evolving sales processes, KPIs, and incentive structures
* Championing data-led decision making and MI development
* Contributing to wider business transformation as a tech-enabled, omni-channel business
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
* Owning senior relationships with lenders, OEMs, and key supply partners
* Representing the business with professionalism and credibility at all times
* Working cross-functionally with other key departments and senior management.
Governance & Standards
* Ensuring compliance, QA, and operational excellence across the sales function
* Accountable for SLA delivery and customer experience standards

What We’re Looking For
* A proven Sales Director / senior sales leadership experience in leasing, automotive finance, or a similar environment
* Experience leading teams of comparable or greater size
* A hands-on leader who thrives being close to the detail and the people
* Track record of driving performance, change, and continuous improvement
* Highly credible in senior stakeholder and client environments
* Data-driven mindset with an interest in technology, automation, and AI
* Calm under pressure, strategic in thinking, and decisive in execution
