Join Our Team as a Domestic Abuse Navigator! Are you passionate about helping people rebuild their lives? As a Domestic Abuse Navigator, you’ll provide trauma-informed, person-centred support to individuals with complex needs who are fleeing domestic abuse, helping them improve their safety, wellbeing, and independence. You’ll manage a caseload, complete assessments and risk management, respond to safeguarding concerns, and deliver tailored support. You will work closely with partner agencies, supporting clients to access and sustain accommodation, assisting with move-ins, benefits and budgeting, and helping people overcome barriers such as homelessness, mental health challenges, or social isolation. You’ll also maintain accurate records, contribute to service development, and help prepare supported accommodation. The role involves travel across County Durham and offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference every day. Durham Domestic Abuse Navigators Who we’re looking for: Demonstrate an awareness of safeguarding when working with clients with complex needs. Experience delivering crisis intervention, risk assessment, advocacy and support for individuals and families affected by Domestic Abuse.
