Those huge small victories

Working in our Children’s Homes means being a part of a young person’s day-to-day life. This involves supporting them through both their high and low moments. Our support workers help young people regain their childhood and build pathways to become well-rounded adults. While there are challenges, we also celebrate the smallest victories that make a big difference.

Our homes cater to young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs, aiming to create the best outcomes. Support workers find fulfillment in making positive changes, no matter how small. Check out this video on what life as a Children's Residential Support Worker is like.

Get out what you put in

You will be responsible for daily care, ensuring routines are followed, and creating memorable experiences. Tasks include preparing for school, helping with homework, completing paperwork, and planning activities. Evenings and weekends are for fun activities like gaming, sports, movies, or outings—making work enjoyable and meaningful. Your role is to understand each young person’s needs and guide them toward a positive future.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including:

* Salary: £28,134 - £34,302
* Bonuses: Up to 4 sleep-ins per month paid at £80 per sleep (approx. £3,840 annually) and a £1,400 Attendance Allowance for good attendance
* Training: A comprehensive 4-week induction via our Care Academy
* Holiday: 7 weeks’ holiday for your hard work
* Progression: Opportunities for promotion from within and participation in our ‘Aspire’ management program
* Flexible benefits: Options to adjust holiday, pension, and insurance benefits

* Medical cover: Reimbursements for opticians, dentists, and discounts
* Meals provided during shifts
* Facilities: Access to excellent working environments and amenities
* Referral bonus: £1,000 for each successful referral

We celebrate diversity and encourage everyone to bring their whole selves to work. While experience is not mandatory, we look for:

* A positive, team-oriented attitude
* Genuine care, honesty, and empathy
* Resilience to handle challenging situations
* A full UK driving license held for at least 12 months
* If you lack a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, we will support you in studying for it
