The main purpose of the role is to support the Director of Partner Finance in all aspects of their management of the Partner Finance division and the delivery of corporate objectives. The role supports the Director in the day-to-day management of the function, the successful management of corporate change projects and the execution of corporate strategy. This role enables the Director to stay on top of and control all in flight actions and projects and ensure the Senior Management Team (SMT) have access to information and operate in a highly effective way to deliver the functions objectives. The role supports the Director in navigating all required corporate approvals and oversight from a wide range of stakeholders. This is an important role and key member of the Partner Finance SMT and requires an ability to be comfortable with large amount of data and multiple projects and managing multiple stakeholders – which requires excellent organisational and analysis skills and strong relationships management skills.
What you'll be doing:
1. Work closely with the Director Partner Finance to support them in their management of the Partner Finance function and the execution of their Group responsibilities and objectives.
2. Support the Director in the execution of Partner Finance strategy. This includes preparing strategy presentations and analysis to support decision-making, monitoring and reporting on actions and tracking execution progress.
3. Support the Director in navigating internal decision-making Boards and forums, by owning and managing actions, preparing responses and papers and obtaining appropriate inputs from Partner Finance SMT and group stakeholders and by developing and maintaining strong working relationships with GEC Business Managers, Company Secretariat, Finance, Risk and other key decision-making stakeholders.
4. Support the Director in the day-to-day management of the Partner Finance functions through ownership of a consolidated list of divisional actions and track these with Partner Finance SMT and report to the Director and SMT in an easily digestible form
5. Responsibility for the assembly and analysis of key relevant divisional data and Management Information (MI) to support measurement, management and senior reporting.
6. Support the Director in the management of corporate change projects.
7. Undertake market research and competitor proposition analysis as and when required
8. Continually expand on knowledge to stay abreast of relevant industry news best practice and keep skills sharp, to ensure the role plays a pivotal part in the delivery of the strategy and continual improvement across the team.
