Job summary Applications are invited for the post of Consultant Uro-Radiologist at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality radiology service within a busy imaging department as part of the Uro-radiology team. The successful candidate will join a team of 34 other Consultant Radiologists in Bradford and contribute to the non-vascular interventional on call rota (NVIR) of 1:10. Main duties of the job In addition to specialist UroRadiology service, the appointee will support: General Acute service: Radiologists are expected to contribute to the weekly rota to provide Duty Radiologist or Inpatient CT or MR hot reporting. They are expected to check overnight on call reports and support trainees with acute general reporting. Intervention on call: There are currently 6 radiologists on the NVIR rota providing a 1:10 service with locum gaps. Interventions most commonly performed are nephrostomy, abdominal and chest drainages and chest drain for pneumothorax, supported by radiographic and nursing staff.
