Aquaculture Standards Innovation Manager
Join the Soil Association as an Aquaculture Standards Innovation Manager.
Location: Edinburgh or home based with regular UK and international travel
Salary: £40,000 to £44,010 per Annum
Position: Full-time, 35 hours per week. Fixed term contract 31st March 2027 (extension subject to funding)
The Soil Association, formed in 1946, is the only UK charity which works across the spectrum of human health, the environment and animal welfare. We campaign for change, we support farming innovation, we serve healthy food in communities, we support and grow the organic market, and we protect forests.
About the Opportunity
The Soil Association is at the forefront of standards innovation for organic farmed salmon. This is a fantastic role for an aquaculture industry professional with experience in project management and a strong track record of delivering to tight deadlines.
About You
With experience in the aquaculture industry you are skilled at stakeholder engagement and have a good understanding of the role of standards and certification. You have strong technical knowledge about the challenges facing the aquaculture industry, combined with an understanding of regulatory frameworks and food systems policy.
