Job Summary:
Using MIG and/or TIG techniques to weld a range of pipe configurations. Competitive rates of pay based on experience. with overtime available at 1.5.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 07:00-17:00
Key Responsibilities:
* Use precision measurement instruments and metal cutting and grinding equipment.
* General workshop duties.
* Read and understand pipe fabrication drawings for each project.
* Adhere to company welding procedures and ensure proper pipe preparation and fit-up.
* Undertake training in accordance with company standards and complete cross-training in various welding activities.
* Follow company Health & Safety processes.
Requirements:
Essential:
* Previous experience in welding with general and pipe welding.
* Previous experience in welding preparation and fit up.
* Experience in reading, interpreting, and working to Welding procedures.
* Competent using measurement instruments, Fillet gauges etc.
Desirable:
* Heavy or structural Fabrication experience.
* Welding qualifications in MMA, MAG or TIG.
* Abrasive wheel training.
