I am seeking an Integration Engineer to focus on deploying and supporting AI-enabled solutions in complex hardware and software environments.
This role is centered on implementing, integrating, and maintaining AI systems while collaborating with hardware, software, and clinical teams. It is not a research role, but requires strong knowledge of AI, machine learning, and robotics to ensure smooth, reliable deployment.
You’ll also have the chance to work across projects, tackling diverse challenges in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement, integrate, and support AI-driven solutions across hardware and software platforms.
* Build and maintain APIs, pipelines, and integration layers connecting AI models to operational systems.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver fully functional, safe, and compliant solutions.
* Contribute to special projects, including prototypes, proof-of-concepts, and system enhancements.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (ISO 13485, IEC 62304, FDA, MDR) in implementations.
* Troubleshoot, optimize, and document integration workflows for reproducibility and scalability.
Required Skills & Experience:
* Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
* Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
* Experience in system integration, APIs, and software deployment.
* Familiarity with hardware integration, robotics, or embedded systems.
* Experience working in highly regulated environments (medical devices, healthcare, aerospace).
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to pivot across projects.
Nice-to-Have:
* Full-stack or back-end development experience in production environments.
* Knowledge of software quality processes, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Understanding of surgical workflows or clinical software systems.
