Service Advisor
Location: Christchurch
Salary: £28,000 – £36,000 OTE (including performance bonus)
Hours: Full-time, typically 40 hours per week, including occasional weekends
About the Role
We are looking for a professional Service Advisor to join our Christchurch dealership/workshop. You will be the main point of contact for customers bringing in their vehicles or motorcycles for service, maintenance, or repair. This role is essential for delivering excellent customer service while supporting the service team to operate efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Greeting customers and recording vehicle or motorcycle service requirements

Booking appointments, explaining service work, and providing accurate cost estimates
*
Liaising between customers and workshop technicians to ensure timely and high-quality service
*
Advising customers on recommended maintenance, repairs, and upgrades
*
Preparing and processing service invoices and payments
*
Following up with customers regarding service updates or completed work
*
Maintaining accurate customer records and workshop documentation
*
Ensuring a professional, welcoming, and organized front-of-house environment
Essential Requirements
*
Previous experience in automotive or motorcycle service advising / customer service
*
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
*
Professional, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
*
Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
*
Competent with IT systems and workshop software
*
Full UK driving licence
Desirable
*
Experience in a franchised dealership or motorcycle workshop environment
*
Knowledge of vehicle or motorcycle technical specifications
*
Familiarity with warranty procedures and manufacturer service schedules
